Northland Communications Adds to Growing Sales Department

Two new sales representatives, Ricky Blackburn and Michael Schmitt, have been added to the business development department at Northland Communications, a Central New York-based telecommunications provider.

Blackburn joins the Northland team with over five years of communication experience, having worked as a news producer, anchor, and reporter in Montana, and then most recently here in Central New York.

Schmitt brings with him over twelve years of experience in the entertainment industry, previously working as the entertainment manager and production supervisor at Turning Stone Resort ∙ Casino.

“Ricky and Michael have been focusing on developing relationships and aligning mutual business objectives,” said Brian Healey, chief operating officer, Northland Communications. “They have really taken ownership of their roles and they exemplify our mission of ensuring quality connections between Northland and our customers.”
