Northland Communications, a Central New York-based telecommunications provider offering cloud-based voice, data, and equipment solutions to businesses over its reliable fiber-optic network, has expanded its relationship management team with three new team members and has announced a new promotion. These decisions have helped strengthen the company’s mission to deliver quality connections between the Northland Communications team, its customers, and its community.
Maureen McCarthy Tracy, who has served as the vice president of community and connections since April 2019, now adds the responsibility of leading the company’s relationship management team. McCarthy Tracy will focus on further developing relationships with existing customers to help analyze their telecommunications needs and synergize products for clients and businesses.
“Maureen has built an incredible connection between the company, her team, and the communities we serve,” said Jim McCarthy, president, Northland Communications. “Her passion for her community and building awareness for Northland Communications is second-to-none. I am thrilled that every Northland customer will now experience that same drive and passion in supporting our existing partners.”
Northland Communications is also pleased to announce the addition of three new relationship managers. Andrew Bennett, Ernest Capriotti, and Matthew Valencia bring extensive experience understanding customer goals that yield clear strategies. They will help sync business challenges clients may be facing and recommend tactics and products to support their business goals with leading best-in-class technology.
Bennett joins Northland Communications with 25 years of leading sales experience that have helped companies put the best voice, data, and internet options in place, most recently with Spectrum. Capriotti brings analytical and meticulous business operations with a demonstrated expertise in commercial customer care built during two-plus decades at Windstream. Valencia is a well-respected thought leader in data center optimization, IP communications, and cloud services derived from over 17 years of experience at Meridian, formerly MAC Source Communications.
“The pace of advancements in technology and telecommunications is astounding,” said McCarthy Tracy. “As more companies remain remote, many opting to stay remote permanently, having a keen understanding of all the benefits, risks, and proposed strategies to ensure a quality connection between our customers and its customers is critical. The expertise shown by Andrew, Ernest, and Matthew is truly astounding, and adding this level of talent will be a huge benefit to our customers.”
