Just this week, Chobani announced it will be expanding into the Triangle Site at the Griffis Business and Technology Park in Rome. When compared to similar projects in other parts of the country, the scale of this investment in a county like Oneida has truly transformative powers. The supporting infrastructure needed for a facility of this size and scale will include dairy farms supplying fresh milk, up to and including entrepreneurs who use innovative technologies that support dairy manufacturing. With so much happening in Oneida County, it’s easy to lose sight of the excitement taking place down the Thruway.
